Cybersecurity Role Overview:

Cyber Defense Technologies (CDT) is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cybersecurity Architect to join our team in a dynamic environment.

The ideal candidate will work closely with internal team members to ensure the security and scalability of our systems and networks.

We are looking for a seasoned professional to develop and implement security architecture, standards, and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.

The selected candidate will lead security incident response efforts, including investigation, analysis, and resolution of security incidents.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing security architecture, standards, and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
  • Leading security incident response efforts, including investigation, analysis, and resolution of security incidents.
  • Conducting risk assessments and vulnerability analysis to identify potential security threats and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate security requirements into the design and development of new systems and applications.
  • Continuously reviewing and proposing changes to systems, networks, and software designs.
  • Partnering with business users to support the integration of cybersecurity protection into business operations.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Systems Security, Network Engineering, Information Technology, or related Engineering discipline and typically 8+ years of relevant experience.

Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education.

Experience with data security administration principles, methods, and techniques.

In-depth understanding of TCP/IP protocols, network analysis, and network/security applications.

Knowledge of operating systems, particularly Windows, Linux, and macOS.

Familiarity with domain structures, user authentication, and digital signatures.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Certifications:
CISSP, RHCSA, RHCE, MCTS, MCSA, CISM
