Cyber Defense Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Senior Security Architect to join our team in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will work closely with internal team members to ensure the systems are functional, secure, and scalable. The systems and networks developed will be used to collect and process data and improve the customer's security infrastructure.

Clearance Requirements:
An active Secret clearance is required.

Responsibilities:
* Develop security architecture, standards, and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
* Lead security incident response efforts, including investigation, analysis, and resolution of security incidents.
* Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analysis to identify potential security threats and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security requirements into the design and development of new systems and applications.
* Continuously review and propose changes to systems, networks, and software designs.
* Analyze logging and alerting data, identifying, and escalating potential security events.
* Partner with business users to support the integration of cybersecurity protection into business operations.

Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Systems Security, Network Engineering, Information Technology, or related Engineering discipline and typically 8+ years of relevant experience.
* Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education.
* Experience with data security administration principles, methods, and techniques.
* In-depth understanding of TCP/IP protocols, network analysis, and network/security applications.
* Knowledge of operating systems, particularly Windows, Linux, and macOS.
* Familiarity with domain structures, user authentication, and digital signatures.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Certifications:
CISSP, RHCSA, RHCE, MCTS, MCSA, CISM
