Position Overview

As a Quality Assurance Specialist at Alliance Precision Plastics, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and quality of our plastic molded components. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Reading and interpreting technical documents, specifications, and blueprints to conduct thorough inspections of molded parts.
  • Utilizing a variety of measuring instruments such as height gauges, calipers, micrometers, and comparators for accurate assessments of materials and production processes.
  • Sorting and inspecting production items as necessary, performing both in-process and final audits to maintain quality standards.
  • Providing training and guidance to operators regarding quality systems and expectations.
  • Organizing and maintaining inspection areas to ensure a systematic approach to quality control.
  • Adhering to safe work practices and demonstrating knowledge of OSHA standards.
  • Managing all ISO procedures, reporting requirements, and work instructions relevant to the role, including necessary computer tasks.
  • Handling materials weighing up to 25 pounds routinely and up to 45 pounds occasionally.
  • Working in a manufacturing environment with the ability to accommodate varying shifts.
Qualifications
  • A High School diploma or GED is essential, with a preference for related technical coursework.
  • Proficiency in computer skills is required.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints effectively.
  • Basic mathematical skills are necessary.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in quality assurance or production within the injection molding sector.
  • Strong time management abilities and a proven track record of excellent attendance.
  • Demonstrated energy and motivation in previous roles.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Able to collaborate with a diverse range of individuals in a team-oriented environment.
