What to expect as a Fleet Technician with PBNA:

Your daily responsibilities will include:
  • Utilizing advanced technology and systems, including PM via voice applications, Noregon diagnostics, Mitchell 1, Uptake predictive analytics, TAAS, and more.
  • Enhancing your skills while working on Pepsi's diverse fleet, which includes cars, trucks (both light and heavy), vans, and forklifts.
  • Diagnosing vehicle issues and performing necessary disassembly, repairs, and reassembly of components.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation, including vehicle records and pre-trip inspections.
  • Conducting oil and filter changes.
  • Responding to service calls.
  • Being part of a team that manages one of the largest fleets in North America.

While we provide extensive training and continuous education to build upon your existing maintenance knowledge and experience, we do have a few essential requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Possession of a CDL license with Non-Excepted Interstate Status (if applicable).
  • Ability to pass a Forklift Driving Skills test (if applicable).
  • Previous experience or training in gas and/or diesel repair.
  • Experience or training in hydraulic and air brake systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience or training with internal combustion engines.
  • Experience or training in Preventative Maintenance.
  • Repairing forklifts (e.g., propane fuel, electrical, battery systems, hydraulic systems, pallet jacks, etc.).
  • Proficiency with computers (e.g., iPad, desktop computers, handheld devices, performing diagnostics with Noregon/Autometer, conducting preventative maintenance using voice applications, executing work orders on INFOR, use of Geotab, etc.).
  • Familiarity with manufacturing standards (e.g., using Mitchell 1, OEM Support tools, staying updated with current standards and technology, experience with electronics, etc.).
  • Driving trucks requiring a Class A or B CDL (e.g., road testing trucks, maneuvering trucks in and out of the repair facility, etc.).
  • Repairing heavy-duty equipment (e.g., working on class 8, 7, 6, and medium-duty trucks, brakes, tires, engines, liftgates, thermo king heater and refer units, etc.).
  • Repairing light trucks (e.g., EV trucks, gas-diesel trucks, vans, support vehicles, etc.).
