$2500 in Bonuses Available
Weekend Shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday 6:00 am - 6:30 pm (initial training on day shift)
POSITION OVERVIEW
This role encompasses a diverse range of maintenance responsibilities including inspections, replacements, alignment, balancing, installation, refurbishment, and machine operation. The technician will be responsible for maintaining mechanical equipment, electrical controls, and fluid systems. Candidates must possess the ability to think critically, solve intricate problems, and apply effective troubleshooting techniques.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct basic to advanced troubleshooting of mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, hydraulic, and control systems.
- Execute daily Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) tasks.
- Interpret and implement technical codes.
- Install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot mechanical power transmission equipment including gearboxes, drives, conveyors, and rollers.
- Install, maintain, rebuild, replace, and troubleshoot various types of pumps.
- Maintain and troubleshoot pneumatic systems, including air compressors and handling units.
- Maintain and troubleshoot hydraulic systems.
- Repair and maintain extruders.
- Maintain, repair, and replace fans and blowers.
- Possess foundational knowledge of plastics processing equipment.
- Have electrical knowledge including high voltage systems, fuses, variable frequency drives, relays, and switches.
- Understand bearing types and their applications.
- Have familiarity with hydraulic presses and systems.
- Experience in machine shop operations is advantageous.
- Welding skills, particularly MIG and TIG, are a plus.
- Ability to read mechanical schematics and knowledge of CAD is beneficial.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED. A minimum of 2 years of full-time experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment.
- Candidates must hold a two-year technical degree in a relevant field.
- Previous manufacturing experience is preferred.
Note: A retention bonus will be awarded to eligible participants who are hired during the program and achieve three months of continuous employment. Additional bonuses will be provided for six months of continuous employment. These bonuses are subject to applicable taxes and details will be discussed upon hiring.
