Established over two decades ago to cater to the needs of credit unions and their members, FCT manages both individual and institutional clients, boasting exceptional partnerships with credit unions across the region. Looking forward, FCT is actively exploring growth opportunities in the Midwest. It is anticipated that trillions of assets will transition between generations in the near future. FCT is strategically positioned to assist clients and partners during this significant generational wealth transfer. We are in search of a skilled Wealth Management Officer who is eager to contribute to a flourishing wealth management and trust firm. This individual will be tasked with establishing and nurturing long-term, trusted relationships with prospects, clients, and credit union partners in the region. Furthermore, this individual will proactively seek new opportunities while overseeing the daily administration of trusts, estates, agencies, and IRAs. Our ideal candidate will possess a growth-oriented mindset and a passion for service, helping individuals define and achieve their financial aspirations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and enhance relationships with existing clients to uncover additional opportunities.
  • Manage client interactions to devise innovative solutions and create exceptional experiences.
  • Proactively reach out to potential clients to assess needs, propose new business opportunities, and secure new relationships.
  • Develop and sustain a referral network to cultivate relationships and generate new business prospects.
  • Stay updated on industry developments and offer new solutions to enhance service offerings.
  • Gain a deep understanding of client needs to formulate strategies that surpass expectations.
  • Effectively manage assigned accounts in a manner that addresses the needs of principals, beneficiaries, and remaindermen.
  • Facilitate the setup of new accounts, determining payment amounts, tax liabilities, and coordinating account distributions.
  • Provide comprehensive account administration and maintenance, including special distributions and expenditure approvals.
  • Ensure accurate management of assigned accounts to comply with all regulatory standards.
  • Oversee account administration activities and address client inquiries and needs promptly.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial services or trust environments preferred.
  • Proven ability to develop, create, and expand new and existing relationships.
  • Experience in achieving reasonable annual asset growth and performance targets.
  • Active involvement in community and business organizations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, motivate, and build relationships proactively.
  • Ability to assist others in resolving issues and making informed recommendations.
  • Demonstrated collaboration and leadership abilities.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret various legal documents.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
