Principal, Mechanical Engineering Leader

We are seeking a highly experienced Mechanical Engineering leader to join our team at Stantec. As a Principal, Mechanical Engineering, you will be responsible for leading our Mechanical Engineering discipline and contributing to the overall strategic and tactical leadership of our practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain awareness of operational, technical or regulatory changes within Mechanical Engineering and disseminate such knowledge to staff and firm.
- Assist in updating Mechanical Engineering specifications, technical documentation and standards in collaboration with other Sr. Mechanical technical resources.
- Oversee Mechanical Engineering Design delivery process and best practices and coordinate with other disciplines.
- Provide oversight for Mechanical Engineering staff's education and certification process.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
- 15+ years related professional experience.
- Professional Engineering license required.
- Project Management Professional certification a plus.
- LEED AP Credential a plus.
