KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee daily and weekly task assignments, ensuring effective workload distribution among team members and making adjustments as necessary.
  • Conduct accounts receivable reconciliations and tie-outs.
  • Manage accounts receivable netting processes.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external auditors regarding accounts receivable SOX compliance.
  • Prepare and disseminate accounts receivable reports on a daily, monthly, and quarterly basis.
  • Serve as the first point of escalation for customer issues and challenging accounts.
  • Evaluate and establish appropriate credit limits for customers.
  • Assess and manage orders placed on credit hold.
  • Engage with customers to facilitate payment of overdue invoices.
  • Address customer requests for documentation related to invoices and payments.
  • Collaborate with business teams to resolve customer delinquency matters.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Preferred academic background in Accounting, Business Management, or Finance.
  • Minimum of 5 years of accounts receivable experience in a business-to-business context.
  • At least 2 years of prior experience in a leadership role within a department.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in balancing business opportunities with risk management and identifying potential risk scenarios.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, particularly basic Excel skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as JDE, Oracle, Infor M3, or SAP is advantageous.
