KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee daily and weekly task assignments, ensuring effective workload distribution among team members and making adjustments as necessary.
- Conduct accounts receivable reconciliations and tie-outs.
- Manage accounts receivable netting processes.
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external auditors regarding accounts receivable SOX compliance.
- Prepare and disseminate accounts receivable reports on a daily, monthly, and quarterly basis.
- Serve as the first point of escalation for customer issues and challenging accounts.
- Evaluate and establish appropriate credit limits for customers.
- Assess and manage orders placed on credit hold.
- Engage with customers to facilitate payment of overdue invoices.
- Address customer requests for documentation related to invoices and payments.
- Collaborate with business teams to resolve customer delinquency matters.
- Preferred academic background in Accounting, Business Management, or Finance.
- Minimum of 5 years of accounts receivable experience in a business-to-business context.
- At least 2 years of prior experience in a leadership role within a department.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in balancing business opportunities with risk management and identifying potential risk scenarios.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, particularly basic Excel skills.
- Experience with ERP systems such as JDE, Oracle, Infor M3, or SAP is advantageous.
