Job Summary

Leidos is seeking a highly skilled Senior HF Radar Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our OTH Radar Program, you will be responsible for leading the design, integration, and implementation of a High Frequency (HF) OTH radar system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support the OTH Radar Program design, modeling / simulation, development, integration, and testing of an OTHR integrated system.
  • Develop and implement technical plans and strategies to ensure successful project execution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate technical risks.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
  • Conduct engineering trade studies, tests, and demonstrations to verify component, subsystem, and system capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in electrical engineering, physics, or closely related field, with 15+ years of radar systems work experience.
  • Experience in radar systems and technologies, signal processing techniques, and radar systems test and evaluation.
  • Previous experience with OTH Radar systems design, integration, and implementation.
  • Understanding of RF transmit, receive, and signal processing techniques as it applies to OTH Radar Systems.
  • Working knowledge of radar modeling and simulation tools and HF propagation modeling.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • US Citizen with Active Secret security clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI.
Preferred Qualifications
  • TS / SCI Security Clearance.
