Job Title: Senior HF Radar Engineer

Leidos is seeking a highly skilled Senior HF Radar Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our OTHR program, you will be responsible for designing, integrating, and implementing advanced radar systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design, modeling, and simulation of OTHR integrated systems
  • Develop and implement radar systems with a deep understanding of HF propagation and analysis
  • Provide technical leadership and direction to the RF engineering team
  • Conduct engineering trade studies, tests, and demonstrations to verify system capabilities
  • Develop test plans, test procedures, and test reports for performance, interoperability, and functional tests
  • Plan and conduct on-site installation, tests, and demonstration activities
  • Lead and support factory acceptance tests, demonstrations, and customer acceptance tests
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in electrical engineering, physics, or closely related field, with 15+ years of radar systems work experience
  • Experience in radar systems and technologies, signal processing techniques, and radar systems test and evaluation
  • Previous experience with OTH Radar systems design, integration, and implementation
  • Understanding of RF transmit, receive, and signal processing techniques as it applies to OTH Radar Systems
  • Working knowledge of radar modelling and simulation tools and HF propagation modelling
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • US Citizen with Active Secret security clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI

  • TS / SCI Security Clearance
