Pulmonary Nurse Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Pulmonary Nurse Specialist to join our team at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. This is a full-time position on our Pulmonary unit, requiring 1 year of previous RN work experience.

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver family-centered care guided by CHOP’s Nursing Professional Practice Model.

* Develop, evaluate, and revise patients’ plans of care throughout their hospitalization.

* Gather and analyze data to inform the care team and delegate tasks.

* Promote excellent patient outcomes by adhering to evidence-based practices, nursing standards, and safety procedures.

* Identify and address safety concerns or ethical dilemmas with unit leadership.

* Develop effective partnerships with the interdisciplinary care team.

* Adopt healthcare technology and clinical practice changes in a fast-paced environment.

* Maintain CEUs for nursing licensure and comply with annual nursing competencies and mandatory education.

Requirements

* Technical diploma- Nursing

* At least one (1) year RN experience

* Prior experience in pediatrics or area of specialty
