Job Summary

Tower Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief of Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine to lead our department and provide exceptional care to children throughout the Greater Philadelphia area and surrounding counties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct the clinical and operational activities of the department, including clinical coverage, physician staffing, nurse practitioners, and RNs.
  • Create a vision and direction for the department, revising and advancing the Pulmonary department to serve the patients of St. Christopher's Hospital for Children and the community.
  • Provide leadership for operational issues, policy design, and implementation.
  • Develop practice-oriented education and mentor/train clinical staff.
  • Active role in Quality Improvement and recruitment of clinical staff.

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree.
  • Board certification in Pediatrics, American Board of Pediatrics.
  • Three years of post-fellowship experience preferred.
  • Graduate of an ACGME-accredited Pediatric residency and Pediatric Pulmonary Fellowship.
  • Unrestricted PA medical license at time of employment.
  • Ability to obtain/maintain DEA certification for Commonwealth of PA.
