Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the complete billing cycle, from invoice creation to payment collection.
  • Address billing inquiries from internal and external parties, ensuring high-quality service.
  • Work alongside legal teams to guarantee accurate and timely billing of services rendered.
  • Review and revise client billing guidelines to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Detect and rectify any discrepancies or inaccuracies in billing information.
  • Compile and present billing reports to upper management.
  • Implement enhancements to improve billing efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with the finance department to monitor and analyze key account metrics.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of all billing transactions.

Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of experience in a billing capacity within a law firm setting, with proficiency in Aderant.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage the entire billing process.
  • Outstanding customer service skills, with a proven track record of effectively addressing billing inquiries.
  • Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in billing software and financial management systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Familiarity with legal billing practices and regulations is advantageous.
  • A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
