Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Security Officer to join our team. This position offers weekly compensation and requires a clean criminal record along with successful drug screening.

Work Schedule: Overnight shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and control access for all individuals, including employees, contractors, and visitors to the premises.
  • Ensure that all security personnel adhere to access control measures and maintain professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct thorough security evaluations of headquarters and assist in assessments of various locations.
  • Collaborate with the security coordinator to manage the Visitor Management System effectively.
  • Develop and implement security policies and procedures, ensuring they are up-to-date and effective.
  • Plan and oversee security operations for events held on-site.
  • Assist in creating essential security standard operating procedures for various locations.
  • Formulate contingency plans for emergencies, including active shooter scenarios.
  • Coordinate responses to security alarms and emergencies.
  • Document and report all incidents and unauthorized access attempts.
  • Act as a backup operator for the access control software, resolving issues and managing access permissions.
  • Keep the Director of Security informed about any access-related concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Strong team player with the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in security or a related field.
  • Familiarity with security technologies, including CCTV systems.
  • Experience in emergency response planning and reporting.
  • In-depth knowledge of security protocols and procedures.
  • Exceptional client management skills with a focus on service excellence.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Capability to generate access control reports and statistics.
  • Excellent organizational skills, including time management and prioritization.
  • Adept at multitasking and adapting to changing priorities.

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation: $17.00 per hour
