Job Summary

B Safe Security is seeking a skilled Security Service Technician to join our team at our Dover, DE branch.


The ideal candidate will have experience installing, inspecting, and servicing fire, burglar, access control, and CCTV systems.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation, service, and inspection of security alarms and associated low voltage systems
  • System testing and inspecting to prescribed standards
  • Make connections and required adjustments as directed; test operation of all components of each system to the signal-receiving center
  • Provide on-site emergency troubleshooting and repairs of customers' security equipment
  • Preparing accurate and timely service tickets and reports
  • Ensuring a high level of customer service, satisfaction, and communication
  • Maintains a clean and safe work environment on and off site
  • Interface successfully with Administration, Sales, Customers, and Management
  • Ability to use a variety of hand tools
  • Perform other duties as required

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • 2+ years' experience preferred
  • Familiarity with one or more of the following product lines: Honeywell, DSC, Napco, Hikvision, Keyscan, Door King, Firelite, Silent Knight, DMP preferred
  • Ability to install, inspect, or service security alarms
  • Basic computer knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must read and speak English
  • Must be responsible, self-motivated, self-starter, personable, and well-organized
  • Must have a clean driving record and a valid Driver's License
