Job Summary

Maintain a high standard of overall store appearance by ensuring cleanliness and recovery standards are met. Deliver exceptional customer service, assisting customers in finding products and providing a positive shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and dispose of trash according to approved procedures.
  • Dust and damp mop floors following approved procedures.
  • Move equipment and products for cleaning and restock products in their designated areas.
  • Clean assigned areas using assigned materials and equipment.
  • Deep clean key areas, including bathrooms, breakrooms, entryways, and high-traffic areas, to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Keep cleaning equipment organized and notify supervisors of supply needs in advance.
  • Seek out areas requiring cleaning and take initiative to complete tasks.
  • Complete all tasks assigned by supervisors.
  • Perform tasks in accordance with federal, state, and local guidelines.
  • Maintain positive and respectful interactions with team members and customers, adhering to the organization's vision and values.
  • Project a positive image and serve as a role model for other team members.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience, executing cash handling to standards.
  • Engage customers on the benefits of rewards programs and private label credit cards, completing enrollments as needed.
  • Assist with omnichannel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS).
  • Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
  • Support shrink and safety programs.
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements.
Preferred Qualifications

Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.

Work Environment

Ability to remain standing for long periods, move throughout the store, and perform regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching. Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment. Work in a public retail store setting, with climate-controlled areas and some outdoor work if assigned to retrieve shopping carts or unload trucks.
