Job Summary

At Freedom Behavioral Hospital of Plainview, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team in providing high-quality patient care in a behavioral health setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Patient-Centered Care
    • Deliver nursing interventions to promote patients' physical and emotional well-being
    • Assess patients' needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Communicate Effectively
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions
    • Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to address concerns and provide education
  • Maintain a Safe Environment
    • Adhere to infection control guidelines and safety protocols
    • Report any safety concerns or incidents to management
  • Document Accurately
    • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress
    • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements
  • Current LPN/LVN licensure in the state
  • One year of experience in a behavioral health setting preferred
  • Effective communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
