The Healthcare Software Engineer will be tasked with developing, analyzing, and generating reports for System Transactions, IoT devices, Biometric data, and healthcare information related to demographics, Observations, Insurance, and Payments in diverse formats such as HL7, ICD-9, X12, XML, JSON, and Binary. This role encompasses coding and constructing specifications using tailored applications for Healthcare Institutions and Electronic Health Record Vendors. Moreover, the engineer will engage in evaluating existing business workflows and systems to propose enhancements that elevate business performance and leverage technology effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, test, and troubleshoot programs, web applications, and system interfaces according to client requirements.
  • Contribute to system architecture, delegate tasks, track progress, review development efforts, and deliver solutions to end-users.
  • Analyze and construct reports and specifications to assess and validate biometric, IoT, and healthcare data as it is gathered.
  • Oversee the deployment of data onto reporting applications and databases.
  • Conduct data profiling to identify and resolve anomalies in developed applications.
  • Create specifications, diagrams, and flowcharts for reporting purposes.
  • Address inquiries and issues related to system functionality, supporting the business in implementing necessary changes for optimal system use.
  • Assist in system implementation, coordinating tests, and observing system initiation to validate performance and ensure business requirements are met.
  • Develop custom reports to analyze operational, functional, and billing processes.
  • Engage with stakeholders to document business rules and data definitions.
  • Determine detailed requirements for various data integration projects and products.
  • Translate functional requirements into technical specifications (source to target mappings).
  • Perform data validation by creating and executing test plans and supporting user acceptance testing.
  • Exhibit self-motivation and the ability to quickly comprehend complex concepts and large architectures while staying updated on emerging technologies.
  • Demonstrate creative problem-solving skills when conventional tools are ineffective.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • Master of Science in Information Systems, preferably with a focus on Business Intelligence and Analytics.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and the system development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in ASP.Net, Angular JS, JSON, Web Services, and report development using C# and Python.
  • Experience in implementing and supporting integrated systems.
  • Knowledge of RDBMS and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with Transact-SQL/PL-SQL and Stored Procedures.
  • Experience in System and Business Analysis for requirement creation.
  • Understanding of Product Development, Coding Principles, Technologies, and Architectures.
  • Familiarity with Standard Messaging protocols like EDI, HL7, XML, etc.
  • Experience with Reporting Servers and Tools such as R Studio, Google Analytics, Tableau, etc.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
Compensation and Benefits

Salary

$70,000 - $120,000 annually
