Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in comprehensive software development life cycles utilizing both agile and waterfall methodologies.
  • Implement and integrate software solutions using C++, Java, or Python.
  • Utilize your proficiency in the LINUX environment, including command line and scripting tools, to enhance software functionality.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure project alignment and success.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in software development, particularly in C++, Java, or Python.
  • Demonstrated experience in full-life cycle software development.
  • Strong command of LINUX skills and scripting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with the Atlassian toolset, including Jira and Confluence.
  • Knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7/8.
  • Experience with Ansible, vSphere, and scripting languages such as Bash/Shell and Python.
  • Proficiency in using Integrated Development Environments like Eclipse.
  • Experience in object-oriented programming within large-scale systems.
  • Understanding of Sky Data Sentry, Splunk, and FAA-STD-026A NAS Software Development Standard.
  • Prior involvement in large-scale software development projects, particularly in the FAA Air Traffic domain, is advantageous.
