Position Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Software Engineer to deliver software maintenance and engineering support under our Foundation Sustainment Services contract.

Key Responsibilities:

The primary duties involve the development and execution of corrective, adaptive, preventive, and perfective maintenance, which includes:

  • Debugging and managing workflows.
  • Identifying and implementing alerts and alarms.
  • Creating methods for the automatic deployment of existing or newly identified services, commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) and government off-the-shelf (GOTS) products, custom code, and government-developed software to ensure a comprehensive solution that aligns with program and product owner objectives.

Required Qualifications:

  • CLEARANCE: TS/SCI CI POLY (CI POLY must be from 2020 or later)
  • A Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience; alternatively, 4 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Proficient understanding of microservice system integration, especially with Appian.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of systems and database integration.
  • Experience with Python, Tomcat, Linux, Windows, and PostgreSQL.
  • Familiarity with both proprietary and open-source GIS applications and database services, such as ESRI and PostGIS (PostgreSQL).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Experience in delivering software maintenance solutions utilizing Agile methodologies.
  • Proven experience in integrating software (COTS, GOTS, FOSS) and capabilities into a cohesive operational framework.
  • Experience in integrating security components with applications and databases.
  • Understanding of Configuration Management and the Request for Change process for review and assessment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Appian.
  • Familiarity with OpenShift.
  • Experience integrating Framemaker into applications.
  • DevOps experience, particularly with GitLab.
  • Experience with collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.
