About the Role

This Senior Product Manager will be responsible for driving key marketing and business objectives for Boston Scientific's Electrophysiology (EP) Product Portfolio, with a focus on US downstream marketing and commercialization for Pulsed Field Ablation (PFA) & Mapping Integrated Ablation products.

The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and implementing marketing initiatives and partnership on clinical education and engagement programs to drive brand preference among Key Opinion Leaders and the broader EP community.

This role requires a strong understanding of franchise management, product launches, and commercialization, as well as a high level of business acumen.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to further business objectives, including market understanding, market segmentation, customer targeting, product positioning, and message development.
  • Support innovative downstream marketing solutions, programs, and tools to create value and support the needs of the Sales Team.
  • Evaluate promotional plans to ensure consistency with product line strategy and effective message conveyance.
  • Analyze franchise sales trends and perform customer segmentation to drive strategic and tactical decision making.
  • Develop and lead KPI analytics, ensuring creation of dashboards to track and report marketing/launch performance.
  • Oversee the collection and utilization of performance data to inform progress and guide optimization.
  • Develop and define tools/processes for tracking performance of existing investments against plan.
  • Execute strategies to maximize profitability of product lines by collaborating with assigned staff, conducting market research, and performing financial analyses.
  • Support and lead execution of comprehensive competitive response plans.
  • Spends time in the field to gain market and clinical insights, as well as build relationships with key physicians.
  • Assists on forecasts for supply chain as well as overall revenue planning.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of medical device experience
  • Analytical skills and ability to craft business plans
  • Downstream experience (i.e., product management, sales engagement, and campaign)
  • Experience with determining customer needs within medical device markets
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% (possibly international)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree (e.g., Master's or MBA)
  • Electrophysiology experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated success supporting and/or managing complex projects
  • Demonstrated success working as an integral cross-functional team member
  • Ability to develop clinical expertise in medical devices
  • Sales experience
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and ability to adapt to changing needs and priorities
