Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the installation, programming, cabling, and testing of security systems.
  • Engage with clients, project managers, and sales teams to clarify project specifications and goals.
  • Create detailed installation strategies, encompassing timelines, resource distribution, and budget forecasts.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to acquire essential equipment and materials.
  • Lead installation crews and subcontractors to guarantee compliance with project standards and quality benchmarks.
  • Conduct site evaluations to determine installation needs and identify potential obstacles.
  • Resolve technical challenges and provide support to installation teams as necessary.
  • Ensure adherence to industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Perform quality control inspections to confirm the effectiveness and reliability of installed systems.
  • Document installation workflows, configurations, and testing outcomes.
  • Act as the primary liaison for clients throughout the installation phase.
  • Deliver regular updates on project status, addressing any client inquiries or concerns.
  • Work closely with the sales department to identify opportunities for additional services or upgrades.
  • Train and guide installation teams on industry best practices, safety measures, and emerging technologies.
  • Encourage a collaborative and efficient work atmosphere, fostering teamwork and professional development.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in engineering, computer science, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing physical security installation projects, ideally in a supervisory capacity.
  • In-depth technical knowledge of access control systems, surveillance technologies, alarm systems, and related security solutions.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational abilities.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Certifications such as PSP (Physical Security Professional) or PMP (Project Management Professional) are advantageous.

Work Environment:

The role requires working in various environmental conditions, both indoors and outdoors. Responsibilities may involve frequent standing, walking, and lifting equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. The position may also require travel to meet company and client needs.
