Position Overview

The Scribe-X Pediatric Medical Scribe plays an essential role within the healthcare team, working closely with medical professionals to accurately document patient interactions in real-time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule: Monday-Wednesday, 8 AM - 5 PM
  • Prepare patient charts according to clinic standards.
  • Accompany healthcare providers during all patient consultations.
  • Record patient histories, physical examinations, procedures, and care plans as directed by the provider.
  • Assist providers in maintaining quality metrics by providing timely reminders and documentation.
  • Input laboratory and imaging orders as prescribed by the provider.
  • Document medication orders as communicated by the provider.
  • Provide and print patient instructions as needed.
  • Review completed patient charts with the provider between consultations or at the end of the shift.
  • Update provider and clinic preference documents as required.
Qualifications
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proficient computer skills with the ability to quickly learn new software.
  • A background in healthcare (e.g., pre-med, pre-PA, pre-nursing) is preferred.
  • A Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred, with a minimum GPA of 3.00.
  • A High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • If lacking a college degree, a minimum of 3 years of full-time work experience is strongly preferred.
  • Typing speed of at least 60 WPM is required for most assignments.
  • Some positions may require a typing speed of at least 80 WPM.
  • Full-time availability is required, Monday through Friday.
  • Spanish-speaking candidates may qualify for higher compensation.
