Seeking a Dynamic Physician Educator in Gynecology

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center is committed to excellence in patient care, education, and research. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced physician educator to join our Gynecology Division.

The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, excellent clinical and surgical skills, and a passion for teaching and mentoring. They will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, participating in educational activities, and contributing to the development of our division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care in the Lowe Foundation Center for Women's Preventative Health Care
  • Participate in educational activities, including teaching and mentoring residents and medical students
  • Contribute to the development of our division, including research and quality improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with other faculty members to advance the mission of our department

Requirements:

  • Medical degree and completion of an accredited residency in obstetrics and gynecology
  • Eligibility for Texas medical licensure and certification by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology
  • Preferred: completion of an AAGL-approved Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery or equivalent experience
