Job Title: Travel Ob/Gyn Sonographer

MetaSense, Inc. is seeking a skilled Travel Ob/Gyn Sonographer to join our team for a travel assignment in Dallas, Texas.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly experienced and certified Ob/Gyn Sonographer to work with our team in Dallas, Texas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in obstetrics and gynecology, with experience in performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating ultrasound equipment, evaluating image quality, and interpreting exams with attending physicians.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic scans for obstetrics and gynecology cases.
  • Evaluate and verify image quality according to PHHS standards to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Review and interpret intermediate/complex exams with attending physicians to determine if additional procedures are required.
  • Determine equipment needs for complex examinations to ensure the availability of necessary supplies.
  • Identify and distinguish appropriate modalities of cardiac ultrasound, including motion mode, Doppler, two-dimensional, and color flow.
  • Maintain and perform intermediate troubleshooting of ultrasound equipment and inform supervisor as needed to ensure maximum availability of operable equipment.
  • Inspect, clean, and prepare exam rooms after each patient to ensure efficient patient flow.
  • Complete, log, and distribute billing reports to appropriate individuals to ensure accurate patient charges.
  • Participate in research studies regarding intermediate sonographic procedures with other medical staff to improve information sharing.
  • Provide clinical instructions for new physicians and fellows in the area regarding sonographic practices and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments, advancements, and trends in Sonography by attending seminars and workshops, reading professional journals, and maintaining certification.
Requirements:
  • At least 1+ years of experience in Sonography working OB/GYN cases.
  • Travel experience preferred.
  • ARDMS OBGYN discipline required; Fetal Echo certification strongly preferred.
  • MUST have MFM, high-risk OBGYN, and pre-natal experience.
  • ALL certs must be active.
