Job Title: Traveling Ob/Gyn Sonographer

MetaSense, Inc. is seeking a skilled Traveling Ob/Gyn Sonographer to join our team for a travel assignment in Dallas, Texas.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly experienced and certified Ob/Gyn Sonographer to work with our clients in the Dallas area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in obstetrics and gynecology, with experience in performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures.

Responsibilities:
  1. Operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic scans for obstetrics and gynecology patients.
  2. Evaluate and verify image quality to ensure compliance with PHHS standards.
  3. Review and interpret intermediate/complex exams with attending physicians to determine additional procedures.
  4. Determine equipment needs for complex examinations to ensure availability of necessary supplies.
  5. Identify and distinguish appropriate modality of cardiac ultrasound, including motion mode, Doppler, two-dimensional, and color flow.
  6. Maintain and perform intermediate troubleshooting of ultrasound equipment and inform supervisor as needed.
  7. Inspect, clean, and prepare exam rooms after each patient to ensure efficient patient flow.
  8. Complete, log, and distribute billing reports to ensure accuracy of patient charges.
  9. Identify ways to improve work processes and customer satisfaction, making recommendations to supervisor and implementing changes as needed.
  10. Participate in research studies regarding intermediate sonographic procedures with other medical staff.
  11. Provide clinical instructions for new physicians and fellows in the area regarding sonographic practices and procedures.
  12. Assist residents in obtaining diagnostic images as necessary.
  13. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments, advancements, and trends in Sonography by attending seminars and workshops, reading professional journals, and maintaining certification.
Requirements:
  • At least 1+ years of experience in Sonography working OB/GYN cases.
  • Travel experience preferred.
  • ARDMS OBGYN discipline required; Fetal Echo certification strong preferred.
  • MUST have MFM, high-risk OBGYN, and pre-natal experience.
  • ALL certs must be active.
