Position Summary: The Vending Technician - VMI plays a crucial role in the installation and ongoing upkeep of the VMI vending systems within their designated region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit and promote core behaviors while mentoring associates.
  • Foster a culture of safety in all operations.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on industrial vending machines.
  • Collaborate with customers and team members to design and enhance vending systems.
  • Assist in managing product inventory, including replenishment and transfers.
  • Troubleshoot both software and hardware issues related to vending machines.
  • Support sales initiatives as needed.
  • Develop tailored vending solutions for clients.
  • Communicate effectively with staff and customers to optimize inventory turnover.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Keep accurate records of all activities.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
  • Adhere to ISO processes and procedures in all tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in computer software, particularly Windows and Office; experience with CribMaster or Auto Crib is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of computer hardware, including I/O devices like printers and scanners.
  • Basic understanding of IP networking is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Vendor Managed Inventory systems.
  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot independently.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Up to two years of experience in a similar role is preferred.

Certifications:

  • No specific certifications are required.
