We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Primary Care team at the University of Iowa. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide nursing care to patients in a primary care setting, under the supervision of a registered professional nurse.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Provide education and support to patients and families on health-related topics and disease management.
- Licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with the Iowa Board of Nursing, or eligible for temporary work permit.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support provider.
- Driver's License and ability to meet UI Fleet Safety Standards.
- Previous experience in a primary care setting.
- EPIC experience.
- Demonstrated experience fostering a welcoming and respectful work environment.
- Minimum 6 months ambulatory experience.
