The Web Press Operator will be responsible for the operation of web press machinery, playing a vital role in our production process. This position entails leadership responsibilities, guiding the press team to achieve productivity, quality, and safety objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain web press machines along with all related equipment.
  • Lead the team to meet and surpass production targets.
  • Facilitate ongoing training and development for team members.
  • Promote and enforce safety protocols while seeking operational improvements.
  • Assist supervisors with employee performance evaluations.
  • Encourage teamwork within crews and across shifts.
  • Ensure adherence to good housekeeping practices.
  • Conduct routine and preventive maintenance on assigned machinery.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications

Skills and Competencies

  • 3 to 5+ years of experience as a multicolor web press operator is preferred.
  • Ability to lead and foster team growth and development.
  • Familiarity with press setup and maintenance procedures.
  • Strong communication skills across all organizational levels.
  • Basic computer proficiency is required.
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and focused on quality and safety.
  • The ideal candidate must be capable of fulfilling all physical job requirements with or without reasonable accommodation.
