Job Description

The Village for Families & Children is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Bilingual Clinician IICaps to join our team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will provide intensive home-based services to children at risk for psychiatric hospitalization.

As a Bilingual Clinician IICaps, you will work collaboratively with families, schools, and community-based providers to develop and implement treatment plans that promote stabilization, improve family functioning, and connect children with their community in a positive way.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and engagement
  • Determine DSM V Diagnosis in consultation with Supervisor and Medical Director or designated Psychiatrist, as needed
  • Develop treatment plans and contracts for services
  • Implement treatment plans, modifying it as appropriate during treatment
  • Discharge planning, which may include linkages to community support services
  • Provides case management services
  • Completes clinical documentation required by agency and program policies, HIPAA regulations, and funding sources
  • Maintains productivity targets determined by service

Requirements:

  • MSW or equivalent required with a minimum of 3 years' post graduate clinical experience preferred
  • Clinical degree in social work, psychology, or other licensed-eligible counseling degree
  • LMSW or equivalent required and licensed eligible
  • Extensive experience working with culturally diverse urban populations, a wide age range, and a variety of clinical presentations
  • Cultural competency to serve a diverse population
  • Knowledge of behavioral health, child welfare systems, and community resources
