Job Summary

Hitchiner Manufacturing Co., Inc. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Specialist - Electrical/Electronic Equipment to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing complex electrical/electronic equipment issues, installing new equipment, and developing solutions for equipment upgrades to improve productivity and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical/electronic equipment issues to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Install new equipment, including main wiring and ensuring compliance with relevant code requirements.
  • Develop solutions for equipment upgrades to improve productivity, ease of operation, and safety.
  • Provide technical guidance and instruction to lower-classified personnel and direct efforts of others when assigned lead on a project.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly working environment and complete all paperwork associated with the job.
  • Inform the supervisor about problems that occur and may be required to handle hazardous waste.
Requirements
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Completion of an advanced military service school or two years of experience outside equivalent.
  • Vision requirement of 20/30 near correctable and ability to differentiate colors.
  • Ability to read and interpret detailed drawings and schematics.
  • Basic knowledge of HVAC and ability to obtain a valid lift truck license as needed.
  • Sufficient strength and physical dexterity to frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
