Maintenance Specialist

We're seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team at Wingate Management Company. As a key member of our maintenance team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and enhancement of our community spaces, including rental units, common areas, grounds, and parking lots.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including painting, lawn care, electrical work, and snow removal.
- Conduct thorough 'turnover' maintenance on newly vacated apartments to ensure they're ready for the next resident.
- Regularly assess the property, proactively addressing maintenance concerns and collaborating with the Maintenance Supervisor on solutions.
- Oversee vendor work as needed and safely operate power tools and equipment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required; CAMT certification is a plus.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience with general knowledge in electrical, plumbing, appliances, and HVAC.
- Strong communication and customer service skills, with a commitment to professionalism and respect for our residents.
- Flexibility to handle after-hours maintenance calls and participate in the on-call rotation.
