The role of the Clinical Solutions Specialist focuses on advancing the clinical and hospital hygiene sectors for Bruker's Infection Control and Strain Typing solutions. This position is primarily remote and entails significant travel commitments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive the development of healthcare markets related to infection control and hospital hygiene within the Americas for Bruker's rapid strain typing and screening solutions.
  • Oversee and support national and international studies related to the IR Biotyper, collaborating with field sales representatives and application specialists to engage key opinion leaders.
  • Facilitate scientific discussions with KOLs regarding product implementation, effectiveness, and evolving practice trends.
  • Assist in training internal teams to ensure comprehensive knowledge of the IR Biotyper, enabling them to conduct demonstrations and provide first-line support.
  • Formulate and present market and product positioning strategies in collaboration with commercial and product management teams, emphasizing the clinical and financial impacts of our solutions.
  • Participate in field strategies to engage microbiology labs and hospital hygiene departments, fostering interest and demand for our products.
  • Represent Bruker at significant industry events to showcase products and generate leads.
  • Build strong partnerships with local Applications, Service, Sales, and Regional Business Unit teams to effectively promote and expand the product portfolio.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to refine the IR Biotyper according to market demands, providing insights to Product Management and R&D teams.
  • Collaborate with the Business Area and Commercial Team to share market intelligence, competitor activities, and customer insights.
  • Deliver regular updates on market and product performance to ensure the development of effective sales tools.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and keep CRM systems updated.
  • Support negotiations and facilitate the closing of sales.
  • Achieve sales targets by analyzing performance metrics and proposing initiatives to address any gaps.
Qualifications:
  • Degree in a life science discipline, preferably microbiology, biology, or chemistry (PhD is advantageous).
  • Strong motivation and enthusiasm for achieving sales growth.
  • In-depth understanding of infection control and hospital hygiene methodologies.
  • Ability to work independently while meeting ambitious sales objectives.
  • Excellent self-management skills and adaptability in a dynamic commercial environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and integrity.
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to foster cooperative relationships across the organization.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Capability to convey complex scientific concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Insightful market awareness regarding competitive products.
  • Willingness to travel extensively, including international trips.
