Cassia is seeking a compassionate and skilled Trained Medication Aide to join our team at Moose Lake Village. As a Trained Medication Aide, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Responsibilities- Prepare and administer medications in accordance with Cassia's policies and procedures.
- Assist residents with personal care and daily living activities, promoting independence and dignity.
- Review and follow written care plans, ensuring accurate and timely implementation.
- Measure and record vital signs, including pulse, temperature, and blood pressure, using our computerized software.
- Assist with various resident cares, such as answering light calls, feeding, and helping residents to the bathroom.
- Observe resident behavior and report any changes in condition or behavior to your supervisor.
- Perform other duties as requested by your supervisor.
- Current Minnesota Nursing Assistant certification required.
- Must hold current TMA certification in Minnesota.
- Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff.
- Ability to stand for the length of an 8-hour shift.
- Team player with a passion for elder care and adaptability in changing situations.
