About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse RN PRN to join our team at Henrico Doctors' Hospital Forest. As a key member of our perioperative team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional patient care and support to patients undergoing surgical procedures
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and efficient surgical procedures
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest surgical techniques and technologies
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)
  • Current Registered Nurse license in Virginia or a compact license
  • Current BLS certification
  • At least 2 years of experience as an OR nurse
