Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team at Retreat Doctors' Hospital. As an OR RN, you will be responsible for circulating cases in the operating room, providing quality care to patients, and working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in the operating room, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care
  • Circulate cases in the operating room, ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are available
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure that all patients receive the best possible care
  • Document patient information and care provided in a timely and accurate manner
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medical procedures and technologies
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)
  • Current Registered Nurse license in Virginia or a compact license
  • Current BLS certification
  • Completion of Peri-Operative course or previous experience as an OR nurse
