- Collaborate with management to achieve service-related performance targets.
- Ensure that all necessary information regarding completed work is communicated effectively for invoicing purposes.
- Utilize the company’s purchasing program to enhance profitability.
- Implement the vehicle inspection program consistently.
- Meet established goals for service, sales, and productivity.
- Support management in onboarding and training new staff members.
- Complete all required training within specified timeframes.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Minimum one year of experience in a service technician role.
- Availability to work during holidays, weekends, and after hours as needed.
- Reliable transportation is essential.
- Ability to learn new concepts and utilize technical resources.
- Proficient in operating computers and office equipment.
- Capable of safely driving both automatic and manual vehicles.
- Effective communication skills with customers.
- Willingness to handle hazardous materials.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Compliance with Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) regulations is required.
- Essential sensory abilities include vision, hearing, and the capacity to detect odors.
- Ability to remain stationary for extended periods and to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Must meet company requirements, including successful pre-employment screenings.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States is mandatory.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Two or more years of experience in an automotive service environment.
- Relevant ASE certifications.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
