Integrated Pest Management Specialist

We're seeking an experienced Integrated Pest Management Specialist to join our team at our Ravena, NY location. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $22.20 per hour.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for conducting daily pest and disease monitoring and scouting to ensure optimal plant health. They will maintain up-to-date pesticide and preventative agent logs, mix and apply pesticides, and operate and maintain hydraulic sprayers for IPM product applications.
This role requires strong time management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with pesticides, cleaning agents, or hydraulic sprayers, and be comfortable with repetitive tasks and physical activity.
Responsibilities- Conduct daily pest and disease monitoring and scouting to ensure optimal plant health
- Maintain up-to-date pesticide and preventative agent logs
- Mix and apply pesticides according to protocols
- Operate and maintain Dramm Hydraulic Sprayers for IPM product applications
- Apply IPM products and beneficial bugs to plants
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., entomology, horticulture, agriculture)
- Experience working with pesticides, cleaning agents, or hydraulic sprayers
- Strong time management skills and attention to detail
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in an environment exposed to plant materials and strong odors
