Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Axess Family Services.

This is a full-time position with a competitive estimated salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, based on experience.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building and mechanical equipment maintenance and repair, with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repair procedures on our buildings, mechanical equipment, and utility systems.

You will also maintain records of scheduled maintenance procedures, daily log books of activities, and complete payroll time sheets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all maintenance work order requests as assigned by the Director of Property Management within a 7 business day period.
  • Maintain records of scheduled maintenance procedures, daily log book of activities, and hand over to Maintenance Supervisor or Manager of Maintenance on a weekly basis.
  • Perform minor and major repairs of all buildings and equipment, including replacing filters and completing daily, weekly, and monthly checklists on building equipment maintenance procedures.
Requirements
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence and effectively communicate information in one-on-one and small group situations.
  • Valid Ohio Driver's License and ability to meet agency requirements for driving insurability.
