Job Title: Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Simco Management. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and repair of our residential properties.

About the Role:
This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday, 8:00 am till 4:30 pm. The workday is busy and versatile with daily service orders and apartment turnover. Our ideal candidate will have excellent electrical, plumbing, and carpentry skills and experience working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as repairs, inspections, and installations
- Conduct safety checks and ensure compliance with regulations
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve shared goals and objectives
- Respond to resident requests and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; trade certification an asset
- Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance or a related field
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights
