Position: Machine Operator

Role Responsibilities:
A Certified Operator must first successfully complete the Certified Operator training program. The Operator is accountable for the operation of the assigned machine or machines each day as designated by the Lead Operator or Shift Supervisor. Their primary goal is to ensure efficient and profitable production output while delivering quality components to the customer in accordance with established Quality System Manual procedures.

Key Duties Include:

  • Review quality specifications in the Process Documentation Procedure (PDP) daily. Thoroughly read Operator Instructions, Packaging Instructions, and Quality Inspection Instructions to ensure a complete understanding of procedures and part defect history. Sign the Daily Training Log after reviewing the documentation.
  • Ensure the operator workstation at the press is correctly configured.
  • Conduct visual inspections of two (2) shots before adding products to the finished goods box.
  • Carefully package products to prevent contamination and damage.
  • Count, document, and report production scrap.
  • Maintain press collection bins throughout the shift to ensure acceptable inspection levels.
  • Consistently manage machine cycles to guarantee quality and productivity on operator jobs.
  • Communicate any quality issues or concerns to the Lead Operator and Quality Assurance personnel.
  • Notify the Lead Operator of poor-quality yield (high rejects), low production rates, or part containment issues.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the production area and assist with general housekeeping during the shift and at shift changeovers.
  • Ensure that the floor and work areas are clean and left in acceptable condition for the next shift.
  • Adhere to company safety policies and specific equipment safety practices as required.
  • Relieve operators for breaks and lunches as directed by the Lead Operator or Shift Supervisor.
  • Assist or substitute for other team members as necessary to maintain the production schedule.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Shift Supervisor or management.

Essential Skills:
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and execute written instructions.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Familiarity with basic measuring equipment.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for eight hours per day, lift 30 lbs. throughout the day, possess manual dexterity, and have good eyesight.
  • Educational Requirement: High School Diploma.

Shifts Available:
  • B-Shift: 3:00pm-11:30pm
  • C-Shift: 11:00pm-7:30am


Compensation: $16 – 17.30 per hour
