Position Summary

The CNC Machine Operator will be tasked with the setup and operation of HAAS and Fanuc CNC milling machines.

Required Qualifications:

Education/Certifications: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

  1. Demonstrated experience as a CNC Machine Operator or CNC Machine Setup Technician.
  2. Ability to collaborate effectively within a team setting.
  3. Familiarity with HAAS Machines and Fanuc Robodrill is advantageous.
  4. Experience in optical manufacturing is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Set up and operate HAAS and Fanuc CNC milling machines and Techno Router.
  2. Interpret and analyze blueprints (GDT knowledge preferred).
  3. Operate manual mills and lathes for fixture and engineering support.
  4. Handle, wax, fixture, machine, and clean glass materials.
  5. Monitor machinery and parts, adjusting offsets as required by programming specifications.
  6. Conduct measurements and quality inspections on both in-process and finished components.
  7. Utilize calipers, micrometers, vision systems, etc., to ensure accuracy of work.
  8. Perform routine maintenance on machines and coolant systems.
  9. Maintain a clean and organized workspace and tools.
  10. Engage in 5S and lean manufacturing practices.
  11. Carry out additional duties as assigned.
