Key Responsibilities:- Administer comprehensive Operator Qualification programs, focusing on training, testing, and evaluating personnel to ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Design and conduct training programs to improve skills and organizational performance.
- Assess training effectiveness by gathering feedback, monitoring employee performance, and adjusting strategies.
- Develop, organize, and maintain training materials, including manuals, guides, and course materials.
- Cultivate a skilled workforce equipped to handle the challenges of the gas industry, ultimately contributing to public safety and operational excellence.
- Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Professional certifications in HSE (e.g., BCSP, OSHA, NCCER) is preferred, but not required.
- Natural Gas certifications, including EWN, Veriforce, MEA, ITS, or training certifications are strongly preferred.
- Five to seven years of demonstrated experience within the Natural Gas industry, including managing OQ Compliance; experience within roles showing progressive amounts of training and leadership ability preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of HSE regulations and standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
- Proven capability to lead and train teams.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to motivate others.
- Strong leadership qualities.
- Creative and practical thinking to implement effective safety practices.
- Quick and efficient response to emergency situations while maintaining composure in a crisis.
