Job Overview

LVI Associates is seeking a seasoned Senior Land Development Engineer to join our team in Southern California.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in residential, affordable multifamily, commercial high-rise/infill, and/or solar site design. We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000-145,000 annually.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage project scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring timely completion of tasks and deliverables.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal and client teams, overseeing construction, procurement, invoice preparation, and project documentation.
  • Perform conceptual and preliminary engineering design studies, considering land use, zoning, site constraints, infrastructure requirements, and regulatory issues.
  • Prepare and process regulatory and public improvement plans for both private and public projects.
  • Conduct constructability reviews to evaluate design feasibility before construction.
  • Provide construction support services, including project management, quality control, and contractor coordination.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (or related)
  • PE License in California (or plan to receive within 6 months of employment)
  • 8+ years of relevant experience
  • Fluency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
