Job Summary

A highly-skilled Senior Civil Engineer is sought by LVI Associates to expand their growing civil engineering department. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in land development, project management, and multidiscipline coordination.

About the Role

This is a senior leadership position that requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and business acumen. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will assist the business development team in developing technical proposals and take a proactive lead role in marketing to commercial, institutional, and industrial clients.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage civil engineering projects from conceptual design to completion.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Develop and implement effective project management strategies to meet client expectations and deadlines.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the growth and development of the civil engineering department.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.
Requirements
  • Minimum 8 years of U.S. professional experience in civil engineering, preferably in California.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • California Civil Engineer (P.E.) registration required.
  • Experience collaborating with local architectural/engineering communities and designing public utilities is highly valued.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D, Microsoft Office, and other software relevant to the field.
