Job Description

The Hotel Maintenance Associate is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the hotel, including guest hallways, elevator landings, and linen closets. This role requires excellent communication skills as well as the ability to lift, pull, and push heavy weights on a consistent basis.

Responsibilities
  • Maintains cleanliness of guest corridors, stairwells, and elevators.
  • Keeps service landings clean and organized, removing trays from guest floors.
  • Dusts baseboards and pictures in guest corridors daily.
  • Cleans ice machine rooms and ensures guest elevator landings are clean.
  • Complies with guest requests and maintains a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ensures hotel guests and associates are maintained in a safe and secure environment.
  • Stocks assigned service landing closets with proper linen and supply par levels.
  • Empties Guest Room linens and garbage on an hourly basis or as needed.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift, pull, and push heavy weights on a consistent basis.
  • Physical stamina to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
