Key Responsibilities

Lead and Support SAP Solutions: Take charge of configuring and implementing SAP solutions that enhance business operations, particularly in Sales & Distribution, Logistics, and Accounts Receivable.

Integration Expertise: Possess a comprehensive understanding of integration points with SAP Master Data, MM, PP, SD, LO, QM, WM, IM, and FI-CO, along with common third-party applications.

Consultative Role: Serve as an internal consultant, collaborating with business users and process owners to identify gaps in functionality and explore continuous improvement opportunities.

EDI & API Configuration: Demonstrate experience in configuring and implementing Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and Application Programming Interface (API) solutions.

Partnership Development: Foster strong relationships to support business and IT strategic plans, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

Requirements Gathering: Collect functional requirements for projects and enhancements, documenting scope, business needs, system configurations, and training materials.

Collaboration with Technical Teams: Work alongside developers, BASIS, and technology specialists to deliver solutions that align with strategic direction and platform standards.

Communication Initiatives: Initiate and maintain communication with business partners and analysts to ensure clarity on business issues and project statuses.

Testing and Validation: Define and execute test cases for various testing phases, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing.

Support Documentation: Oversee all logistics-related documentation and forms generated through IT applications, utilizing industrial printing technologies.

Industry Experience: Bring direct experience from the chemical or process industries, particularly in production, logistics, inventory, and operations.

Analytical Skills: Apply hands-on knowledge of warehouse management analytical standards, reporting, and metrics.

Mobile Operations: Utilize mobile devices for warehouse tasks such as inventory execution, picking, and loading.

Training Development: Conduct super-user training through various delivery methods to enhance the super-user network.

Documentation Management: Prepare and maintain comprehensive solution documentation.

Multitasking Ability: Exhibit the capability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, global environment.

Required Skills

Individuals in this role are recognized as subject-matter experts, operating with minimal oversight. Their decisions significantly impact financial, organizational, and functional areas. They possess a broad understanding of business processes and deep IT knowledge, acting as architects of solutions from concept to execution.

Successful candidates will have:

  • A minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in business processes and systems analysis.
  • Expertise in SAP SD, LO, and WM configuration, demonstrated through at least five full SAP implementations.
  • Experience supporting multiple SAP systems across various business units.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive approach to analyzing and improving business and technical processes.
Education and Certifications

A Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Management Information Systems or a Logistics-related field. PMP certification and S4 HANA experience are advantageous.
