Job Description:
AIDS Healthcare Foundation, a leading provider of HIV/AIDS medical care, is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician at AHF, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our clients.

The ideal candidate will have at least a high school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of three years of recent experience as a pharmacy technician or equivalent. A current Technician license or certification in the state where employed is also required. Additionally, proficiency in Cerner/Etreby Pharmacy systems is strongly preferred. Bi-lingual skills in English and Spanish are highly desirable, but not necessary.

Responsibilities:
As a Pharmacy Technician at AHF, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Providing excellent patient care and support through friendly and helpful communication
  • Ensuring accurate and timely processing of prescriptions and medication orders
  • Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines
  • Collaborating with other departments and teams to ensure seamless delivery of patient care

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Current Technician license or certification in the state where employed (if required)
  • Minimum three years of recent experience as a pharmacy technician or equivalent
  • Proficiency in Cerner/Etreby Pharmacy systems (strongly preferred)
