About the Role

The Pharmacy Service Coordinator will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacy operations, ensuring seamless delivery of services to patients and clients. This position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, clients, and staff members, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with various departments within the pharmacy and other divisions of AHF to achieve shared goals and objectives.
  • Utilize data input skills and experience in pharmacy systems, including typing proficiency and familiarity with Windows PC applications.
  • Develop and implement new systems and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy in pharmacy operations.
  • Contribute to a safe and efficient workplace by maintaining a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols, and promoting a culture of respect and inclusivity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field (e.g., healthcare administration, pharmacy technology) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a pharmacy technician or similar role, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex information and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, clients, and staff members from diverse backgrounds.
  • Familiarity with Cerner/Etreby Pharmacy systems and bi-lingual skills in English and Spanish highly desirable.
