Job Description

The position of Pharmacy Software Implementation Specialist at Liberty Software is a great opportunity for professionals to showcase their skills in implementing top-notch software systems for pharmacies across the country. This role requires extensive travel to our client locations, where you will work closely with pharmacy staff to ensure seamless installation and implementation of our pharmacy management suite.

As an ideal candidate, you should possess at least three years of experience in related fields such as pharmacy, technology, or software implementations. A strong background in teaching and training others is also essential, as you will be responsible for providing comprehensive onsite and web-based training to our clients.

We are looking for individuals who can provide exceptional customer service, communicate effectively at all levels of client organizations, and have a passion for continuously learning and improving their technical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide onsite and web-based training of Liberty's pharmacy software
  • Assist pharmacy staff members by troubleshooting hardware and software issues, insurance claim adjudication problems, or answering general questions
  • Install specified software packages such as operating systems and Liberty's proprietary software (pharmacy management suite)
  • Configure and test networking settings
  • Install hardware and peripheral components such as workstations, servers, monitors, keyboards, printers, scanners, point-of-sale lanes, cables, and networking equipment on user's premises
  • Respond to client inquiries concerning systems operation and diagnose system hardware, software, and operator problems
  • Recommend or perform remedial actions to correct problems
  • Provide detailed updates, status, and completion information to manager, problem request tracking system, and/or users, via phone, e-mail, or in-person communication

Requirements:

  • Ability to travel up to 100% of the time within the United States, including overnight travel
  • Regular travel via commercial airlines (typically flying out of the DFW airport)
  • A valid, unexpired driver's license and current personal automobile insurance

Estimated Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including 100% paid medical and life insurance, a fully vested 401K matching program, and generous PTO plans.
